I just installed Linux (Debian) next to an existing XP/SP2 without a problem. I am planned now to use Windows own boot loader and install Linux infromation only on Linux partition. ? Btw. Is there way to install Mandrake that way I boot from floppy and it finds all my ISO's from Windows NTFS partition?

I would like to experiment with using the winxp bootloader so that the first screen I see is the xp bootloader. I can then choose either winxp or linux. I am aware of how to boot linux from boot.ini by placing a binary file in c:\, etc. However I don't know how to make Winxp come up first - before lilo.

Hi all, I tried using my xp bootloader fro loading linux and I just can't get it to work. I added a line called c:\lin.bin="linux" And I tried different driver letters and it just doiesn't boot linux. Lilo works fine but I'd rather use xp's loader to load xp and linux. What could I be doing wrong?
